99 f-150 5.4 - coolant issue
Hoping someone has suggestions.
Replaced the rod bearings 250k,water pump, thermostat. After the first start started the white smoke, can see exh. gas in the coolant. Getting coolant at the exh. manifold. Have re torqued the intake (new gaskets) no differance. Would like to try using a Rad or block sealant but the coolant doesn't seem to flow. Here's what I've done.
Installed a flush kit and flushed many times.
Bled the two throttle body lines.
Removed the Dr. side block plug and let flow. did not have the vehicle running.
Bled the lower Rad hose.
There does not seem to be any flow coming from the water pump tube and when the thermostat opens it does flow but seems more like thermal expansion. The lower Rad hose never seems to be full. It does draw coolant from the Degauss bottle to a certain exten but then stops even though it is still pushing white smoke.
Was thinking of warming it up and removing the thermostat and putting the sealant in there. Then re-install the thermo and run it. Want to get some suggestions first to see if I have missed something.
It's been hell. Bearings went and the tranny at the same time. This was my only vehicle for work and I'm self employed. Needless to say I couldn't do work so my rebuild options were limited otherwise I would have rebuilt it all.
Please help if u have any suggestions.

Sounds like a head gasket IMO.
