Are you using a code reader to know it's the same codes returning after clearing them out?
Hard to believe the 1407 code returned after you replaced the DPFE hoses.
Be sure what conditions you really have because a 357 code will be a sure misfire on cylinder 7 if it's really the case because of [how it is detected] it can't be a false indication.
If the 357 returns you either have a harness issue or the PCM driver is faulty assuming the coil is good.
This is why the PCM should be cleared of codes or your just looking at old history and getting confused..
Good luck..

so what other way is there to reset the pcm?
Codes in OBD 2 System can not be cleared by disconnecting the battery. They must be cleared with the scan tool.Code will clear itself after 3 successful "Trips",meaning the monitor that set the code has run. May take several days of driving to achieve. You can look up the conditions(service manual- a real one not a Clymers) required to set the code and drive the vehicle in these parameters.

I was going to give it a "Nonsense!" response.
What will clear the KAM. If the codes are coming back IMMEDIATELY, then you have a "hard" fault as Bluegrass suggested.
so what other way is there to reset the pcm?

If your at a point you can't get past, a Scanner needs to be used to look at the misfire monitor for cylinder 7 to confirm the misfire..
If it shows a high count in a short time you still have the issue.
After doing a clear with a tool the PCM goes into a complete new diagnostic of all systems depending on the conditions it starts from such as hot or cold and how long is sat cold etc. because the PCM keeps track of a lot of parameters, something like the NSA you been hearing about.
Even doing a clear with no codes present causes the PCM to go into new diagnostics.
Clearing and rebooting by power down by either battery or removing the KAM fuse, only takes less than one minute not hours.
.
The P0357 code is a failure detected by the PCM of the Primary side of the coil circuit. Changing the spark plug would not affect this code.
.
What you have is power to the coil that is common to all coils from the same fused source.
The PCM 'ground' switches the coil through a coil driver solid state switch in the PCM.
If the power to the coil is missing, the coil is open, the harness to the PCM is open or the PCM switch is faulty, the PCM separate diagnostic monitor program detects this as a change in {expected} current flow signature it is equipped to recognize. If he signature does not meet the
.
Sounds complicated? It is, but this is the world you now live in.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
