Did a 9.75" 3.73 posi rear ever come factory?

Hey guys, I've done some research and really only found bits and pieces. I'm doing a swap into my truck and am having a hard time finding a rear. I want a 9.75" disk brake 3.73 posi rear from an f-150 because I need the leaf setup. I THINK it was an option and believe it came standard in 99-03 5.4 off road package trucks, but I can't seem to find out for sure.

So all that being said, can anyone confirm that there was in fact a 9.75" disk brake, 3.73 posi option for the 99-03 trucks? Also if anyone near NJ happens to know where one is at that would be great.

TIA

The 3.73 was an option but it was not included on the ORP (sort of). The ORP required the 3.55 rear end for most trucks, except for SuperCrew. The ORP SuperCrew had the 3.73 rear end.

Ok so most of the trucks that got the 9.75" w/ 3.73's were Screws in 99-03? I've found a few B6 axles codes in the yard but it's always on 7700 package trucks which of course had the 10.25 and 7 lug axles.

The Screw rears are the same as any regular 99-03 150 correct? I just want to be sure it will mount up right to my 99 ex cab.

It's more than just screws. Any model could come with the 3.73, as did my scab 01. Just have to look for them.

Not all, I believe it was 01-04, 99 and 00 had 3.55's, but I did think of that. Problem is the lightning had staggered shocks. But I decided to just do that, it will help handling anyway. Just have to fab up a new shock mount on my truck.
