I am new to this forum and I need help in solving a problem. I have an F150 with a v-6 engibe, 5 speed manual, single cab 4x4 truck with 83,000 miles on it.

I love the truck due to it's simplicity, but during this cold snap the blower motor quit working and driving thru -12 degree weather is tough on me....I need heat.
The blower was working before this cold snap, now it isn't. It does not have any speed at all. Owners manual shows I have a 40 amp fuse in the power supply box and it does not appear to be blown.....

How do I determine if I have a bad blower motor or is the fix much simplier?

I also wonder if the cold had anything to do with it and it should get sorta balmy at around 22 degrees today, but I really doubt that.....

 

Have you pulled the fuse and checked it with an ohmmeter? (Fuse # 105 in the PDB)

 

Get your multimeter out, set the blower to where it should be on HIGH, and measure the voltage at both terminals of the blower motor.

What are the voltage readings?
