won't crank

won't crank

2003 f150 4.6l triton v8. was going down highway and truck just dies. tried to restart it and it won't crank or turn over is does nothing. we just changed coil packs over the weekend..help please..this is our only vehicle

Is your battery dead? That often happens when the alternator fails and the battery then runs down until everything just dies due to lack of power.

UR need for more than a jump. Battery cable, battery, alternator?

Take your battery in to get tested. If the battery is drained then the problem is most likely the alternator since it died while you were moving.

If that is not it, it could be your fuel pump too. That was the first thing that went on my 01.

How do some of you think TPS and fuel pump when the starter won't turn the motor over as stated (called no crank)?
