Passenger side light doesn't work

Like the title says, my passenger side light wont work. Brights work but not the regular light. I checked the connections and everything looked fine. When I test the wires I have one that doesn't work so I am assuming thats the problem.

Anyone have any idea on where to start? Is there a fuse or relay that I should check?

Thanks

D

Anyone? I have tried all the fuses... I still haven't looked at the MFS. It seems this is only the problem for a few people.

Got pulled over and given a warning the other day and want to the this fixed!!

Start with the light bulb. There are two different elements in there, one for regular light and one for high beams.

Swap bulbs and see if it still does it, at least that will rule out a bulb issue.

Bulbs are brand new and I have switched them, both work.

On the 98 F150, the left low beam headlamp is circuit 160 which is the dark blue with the white stripe. In the junction box/fuse panel, book says it is number 6 and #7 is for headlamp dimmer switch to low beams. This is out of the ford repair manual for electrical for the 98.

Did you ever resolve this issue? If so, what was it?

I haven't had anytime to attmept to diagnose the problem. I might just end up taking it to the dealer and just paying for it....

I have a repair book for it but right now Im more just lost with the whole problem.

Also, I have read just about all the threads and resopnses on this topic and it seems like there are 10-15 different reasons that this happens. Very inconvenient
