Here is what I have out so far. Dont ask me how, but that nut came out first. I'll be using an easy out to get to the rest.

Yea, that's what I thought you were saying. Wow, I don't see much corrosion.

Did you turn it the wrong way at first ? It would take at least 100' lb's to break to shear that plug, - a little more perhaps , but not much.

Curiousness, what plug part number in on the broken one, can you still see it somewhere? Yea just wondered how old it was.

If it old, maybe carbon was a factor and/or corrosion as well.

Just an update, finally got the rest of it out today using a number 5 easy out. New plug and coil in. I'm glad I did it myself so I know what to do next time but what a nightmare. Thanks for all of the help.

Damn! Took her out today for a lenghty drive and heard the same ticking noise I heard when misfired started and light/code came on. Thoughts?

Check the torque on all the plugs.
