Off Road KC lights mounted to bumper

I have a 1999 F150 XLT 5.4. I just got a pair of KC Apollo 6inch driving lights and I would like to mount these directly to the front bumper on the top. Should I drill two holes straight down through the bumper to hold each light. What's the best way to attach these lights? Will this work well? I really don't want to add a brush bar or light bar.

Thanks for your advice!
Ricky

I'd drill through he bumper if you don't want to get a bar or anything for them to go one. Just make sure you measure it out so they're evenly spaced before you start drilling.

Would you suggest that I drill straight through the plastic on top of the fiber glass and through the metal bumper. I just want to be sure before I start drilling.

Thanks!
