I got the USA Standard. I've heard good stuff about it. I don't think ill be doing anything that will break it. $375 plus $78 for shipping to Guam. I have a buddy who will install both for $400. Not a bad deal. She's a road truck so i'll rarely see any off road.

Str8t Six, gonna start the lift soon. I would really appreciate the pics. I'm reading the part about installing the compression struts. I'm not sure where the drill the 1/2" hole on the transmission crossmember. The pic doesn't show a 1/2" bolt used. Also, I'm confused about the torsion crossmember bracket. It says to turn the crossmember over (inside the bracket) before mounting. Thanks for the help.

So I finished the install but its late so I didn't adjust the adjust the ride height yet. I started out with 22 1/2 inches from center of the hub to the fenderwell. I got exactly 4 inches of lift on the passenger and 4 1/2 on the driver. I will adjust the torsion key to reduce the 1/2 inch. The problem is the rear leaf springs. The passenger is 1 inch higher than the other side. Will the leafs need time to break in and settle? Thank you for any help.

Did you get new leafs?? If so yes.

You running stock wheels? Or do you have aftermarket wheels? I am getting ready to put the same lift on and like the stock wheels and prefer to keep them for a little while. Unless I absolutely need to get new wheels.

The kit did come with new leafs. I gonna use the stock FX4 rims and put on 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac's. I just finished installing the lift.

Update: 35's or 315's will fit on the stock rim but it will rub the new knuckle on the RCD lift. So it's either I buy a 2" wheel adaptor or buy new rims. Not sure what to do.

That's what I thought when you said you were using the stock wheels. Not to spend your money for you, but nice 17's can be had for $600-800, which I think is pretty good.

New rims are whats gonna happen now. I was basing myself on the guys who do a 3"BL. They run the stock rim and the stock knuckle angle will allow for 35's. Anyway, a good set of 35's run about 1700 bucks here on Guam and not much less for 33's. Rims and tires will be about 2300 to 2500. Seems like a safer choice that using 2" wheel adaptors. Oh well, we only live once.
