Rear diff tag breakdown?

Both axles are 3.73, it looks like the one in the truck is open unless there is a "L" before the 73. *IF* you are convinced you have a LS, it's very possible the previous owner changed the gears from 3.73 to 4.10 and put a LS in - and didn't remove the tag.

Even a used truck should still have it's drivers side door jamb sticker in place?

Ya I'm not too sure, I never noticed until I was looking for the paint code not too long ago.

Okay, then your spare axle is identical to the one in the truck if the tags are correct. 3.73 LS.
