I've got a 97' that's been parked for a couple years and since then the windshield wipers have stopped working, found a guide online on how to remove the wiper assembly, removed the wiper arms, removed cowling, undid the 3 bolts holding the assembly in place, go to remove it and I can't because it was designed to only come out when the linkage has the wipers fully extended and it won't budge! I can't replace the motor or anything without getting it out of the truck! Any help would be appreciated.

 

BIG EEEFFFFIINN HAMMER!!!!!! or just a hammer and some penatrating oil. to loosen it up. considering its been sitting for awhile.
