02 S-crew 2wd tire sizes

Hey everyone, just wondering what size tires will fit stock rims on a 2002 4.6L Supercrew with a 1" leveling kit on the front. It's the XLT, so the wheels are 16" aluminum. The stock tire size is 255/75/R16. I was looking at going to some Bf Goodrich KM2 Mud-Terrain, but I'm not sure what size I can fit on the stock rims and basically stock suspension. It's a 2WD by the way. I was looking at 33's, since the stock are basically 31's, but I'm not sure. I have no idea what if the 33x12.5 will fit on the stock rim and still have clearance or what. So all help is appreciated. Thanks!

And I just looked. Will these fit without rubbing?

I like these too, cause they're still 33's or close to it, but they're not near the cost since they're not as wide.

I'd stick to like a 31x12.50 at the widest, or maybe somewhere like a 32x10.50ish if you want taller but narrower. Your only 1" higher than stock so your somewhat limited for going bigger.

A 33x12.50 isn't going to happen without some rubbing issues even with some decent trimming.

Alright. Well what about a 305/70/R16. That measures out to a 32.811 inch tall tire, but it's 12.05 inches wide

Basically the same so no, a 285/75r16 would probably squeeze in there with some minor trimming.

Your not going to clear a 305/70r16 without about 2.5-3" of lift to cancel out most rubbing issues.

And you'll need to check manufactures specs for true sizes, not what's stamped on the sidewall.

Hey, don't know if you're still subbed to this. But Would a 285/70/17 fit without trimming? It's right at 32.7" tall...

It'd take some trimming. You could get it in there, but you'd need to take some off the valence and the inner fender liner. And you would most likely have to deal with some minor rubbing on the frame at full lock.

Alright. I know I'm probably bugging you. I just really want to make sure I know something will fit before I spend almost $1,000 for something.
How about 265/70/17? If I did the math correctly, they should be around a 31.6" tall

On stock wheels no problem, on the wheels you mention in your other thread it may have some rubbing issues, but not nearly as much as the 285/70's would.

I just realized something.....my dad has a 2003 Supercrew King Ranch 5.4 2wd, and his stock tires were 275/70/17, and they don't rub...same exact truck, just with the bigger engine. His 275's don't rub one bit
