Rear lift help?

Hey guys I have my 03 f150. And the rear of the truck sit way lower than the front. I looked at the leaf springs and there is NOT any lift blocks. Should I just throw some 3" blocks to get it higher Bit?

You can, but you'll most likely need new rear shocks for 3". 2" is about the most you can go on stock length shocks.

AAL is always an option and will net you approx 1.5" of height depending how tired the stock leafs are.

I don't know what AAL means. I was able to find a set of 3' lift blocks from the wrecking yard. I'm just waiting to go pick up my new shocks. How do I post pics. I have 2 pics of my truck in the album section. But I can't seem to copy the URL or image code to post it on this topic. The height difference is about 4-5' front front to back. But this is my first big truck. Educate me people. I'm listening.

Aal stands for add a leaf. It's an extra leaf spring that goes under the leaf pack to give lift.

I don't think difference in height from front to back counts when you've got a trailer on it haha. We don't know how much tongue weight and total trailer weight you've got on it. That, in combination with tired leaf springs, along with a lift on the front end, will have the rear a lot lower than the front.

My leaf springs on my 06 have sagged from lots of towing, and lift blocks have it back up where I want it.

Well the truck sits just as low without the trailer. But I was just curious as to why the rear didn't have any lift blocks. Most truck I saw last week had Atleast the 2' blocks. But stay tuned ill be putting on the blocks tonight

Oh, alright. Any 4wd should have those 2" blocks, so that part of the problem.

Well blocks are in. Hell of a difference. I like it way better. I might still do the 3' after I get some better shocks. Thanks for the replies.
