Running 18s with 285 tires

I have a few posts asking about tire and rim combos as I need to replace some rims going bad.
I was told a few 17" combinations " May" work and keep a stock stance by keeping the wheels in the wheel well. They have now offered a really good deal on some bigger rims that they say wont need a lift and or stick out of the wheel well.
Email stated this:
You can do the MO959 in an 18". They will go on without sticking out past the fenders or requiring a lift kit.

Look for part# MO95989013218. These have 18 offset.
You would also want to run a 285/60R18 tire on there.

Seems like this would rub on the inside with this size tire on a 2wd...Anyone running something close and in a 2wd model with no lift?

I wanted to stay stock 16s but hardly any choices. Found a few 17s I like but the offsets were all negative so they wouldn't work. 18s offer more choices but worried about fit in a stock 2wd F150 and rubbing and etc....All these calculators still kind of confuse me with changing tire and rim sizes..
