Which engine? How many miles on what brand spark plugs? How many miles on the truck?

(V-8) Have any coils ever been changed?

(V-6) Have any plug wires or the coil pack ever been changed?

First, there is nothing dreaded about a 316 code over any other.
Next you apparently have not paid attention to the code discription because fuel additives, fuel filter and vacuum leaks are not the cause of the CYLINDER MISSFIRE that is being detected at cranking.
You have a cylinder with a faulty coil, boot or spark plug.
It's an ignition issue.
The best way to find the cylinder causing this is with a Scanner that can look at mode 6, test 53 at the cylinder missfire monitor for each cylinder to see which one/s has high counts and service accordingly.
It may be time to change all the boots for age.
Good luck.

4.6l 200000 on the truck, 60 k on the motor and about 40 k on motorcraft plugs. Coils and boots have been changed as needed as they go out. Use dialectic grease on all boots. Still have couple of grannetelli coils on May just change them for peace of mind. Thanks for the help

Just so you know, you can buy a full set of Visteon coils on Ebay for $160.
