I have a scab and a lil one as well (congrats by the way!) and I honestly wish I had a screw! Still gets tight when they get a little older. Just my thoughts.

I like the 1st one much better than the 2nd one. My vote would be the FX4. Best of luck!

Get the 03 - it has PI and cops. That 02 just doesn't quite look right to me.

Working on gettin the 03 as we speak. It looks immaculate and great for the price. If I could get the day off I'd be down there in a heartbeat. Will have to wait until Saturday or sunday

My son is 14 months old now, I had him in my brother in laws 04 heritage a few months back and it SUCKED compared to my screw. The carseats are so frigin huge that we had to slide the passenger seat forward quite a bit. If I had an extended cab when he was born, I would have traded for the crewcab before too long I think

Yeah I think overall you would be happier with a crew cab. I mean I know you are used to the longer bed and all that but with all the headaches of having to worry about a carseat in that small of an area like stated above; eliminating those alone will make it a whole lot more enjoyable. The decreased carrying capacity IMO could more easily be worked around than the small area to put that big ole carseat in. Just my $.02 though.

In other news, if you are dead set on the scab, that FX4 is really nice and looks well taken care of

I have 2003 Scab & 5 yr old...

My vote goes to the SCREW also.
My pass seat is all the way forward, my boy sits in a fullsize car seat.
He's not cramped, yet.
I like my truck, I've invested too much in aftermarket items to sell, so I'm keeping it.
My boy will be cramped soon until he can sit up front. Ha.
Need to find a simple booster seat, hopefully will give him more room.

Good luck with any choice you make.

If it was me I would take out the loan. Buy the new to you truck and sell your own truck yourself. A dealer wont give you much for it and any mods you have, if any, dont really count towards value. Unless of course its them selling it. You should be fine taking her with you. Even if she does go into labor it will be hours and hours before the baby gets there. Both my kids took about 19 hours from the time she started having contractions.

Currently looking at this crew cab http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/3757467314.html
I was against crew cabs initially because for some reason I thought they only had four foot beds. Turns out they have 5.5 foot beds which is plenty! Very excited about that. The white fx4 I was looking at got sold today before I got a chance to look at it. O well I might like this black crew cab better.

Bye bye manual transmission...........

4 foot beds on a crew cab - you are thinking of a S-10 or a Sport Trac.

I know I'm gonna miss my manual if I get this one but I can't find a decent truck with a 5 speed. My brakes on current truck are hardly working as of this morning and the abs light is on. I might have a busted steel line somewhere on this rusty old truck...
