So Glad to be Back Here

I used to visit the F150 forums fairly regularly, and contributed a time or two to threads as well. I think my best contribution here came with an O2 sensor install a few years back, seen here:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...r-install.html

That was done on a 1997 F150 that I had for a few years. A couple of years ago I bought a boat and decided I wanted to get a diesel to pull it with. Ended up with an F350 to drive in the summers for towing, and a VW Jetta for a daily driver. Sold the boat this year to get a new house up in the mountains, so I decided the Jetta had to go. Of course, the only thing I wanted to get back to was an F150.

Found a great 2002 SuperCrew on Craigslist this week. Nice dark blue color, only 86k miles, lariat leather with heated seats, tow package...the works basically. One owner who kept it immaculate. Picked it up yesterday and man oh man is it nice.

As I perused through some threads here, I came across a few names I remember fondly - particularly jbrew. I remember that guy being unbelievably helpful. So glad to be back here, and I should be keeping this truck for a long time to come, so hopefully will make a few more contributions.

Now the list of things to do begins:
Oil change
Differential, transfer case, tranny fluids
Check brakes
Spark plugs (at 86k, gettin to be due)
Possibly COPs, although it is running smooth as can be right now
Air filter
Fuel filter
Gotts mod
PCV and elbow (genuine OEM of course)
Radiator flush and maybe a thermostat and rad hoses

And of course, find a center jump seat to replace console for when family is in town so we can seat 6.

Anyone else want to add to my list?
So loving my new-to-me F150.

I personally like doing plugs 60-75k range I think it helps extend the life of the COPs

Welcome back! Sounds like you got a nice truck. How much did you get it for?
