Noise from or around valve cover? (video)

Any ideas of what this noise is. It sounds like its coming from inside the passenger side valve cover. Haven't had a stethoscope to it so i'm not sure of exact location. Truck is 01 screw 5.4 with 212K. Check out the video below.

What the... did someone cry at the end?
I know I heard the famous passenger exhaust manifold leak at startup. Have you removed the belts and tried it? Also, remove the clutch fan. Whatever it is, it has a bad bearing that is whining at shut down. But it may be a pulley so eliminate that by removing the belt.

It has to be vacuum or pressure related IMO. None of the pulleys are spinning toward the end there. As far as I can see anyway. I'd guess the EVR itself since it bleeds off after shut down, or a bad vac line (emissions).

Is this an old April fools dodger? Sounds, iduno, - part kazoo, part **** flick...

Do this, - after shut down, put your hand on top of the EVR right away, while it's making the noise. You'll know it if it's the EVR, it'll be vibrating.

I just pulled the pcv elbow out of the valve cover. started the engine, shut it down and listened. There was no change in the sound.

I thought so, but wasn't sure. Yea, check that EVR, that's easy.

If that's not it, then I'd pull the belt.

I can't get over that last part. I keep coming back and listening too it. Sounds like a baby seal, cry for help, dying seagull or a walrus that was just bitten in the *** by a shark.

I won't mention the humanly sounds it could be. I think jbrew mentioned one

so i checked the pcv valve again and that was the problem. as always thanks for the advise and suggestions. yeah that noise at the end was my buddies kid running around and playing in the background. I didn't notice it until you guys said something, it is definitely an odd noise for a motor. haha. Thanks again.
