will 35s fit?

Ive got at 2002 f150 screw off-road fx4. I've tightened the t bars and have the stock wheels on it still. I was wondering if I could fit BF Goodrich LT315/70R17 tires under it.

Yea they'll fit in there. But depending on the tread pattern you'll probably have to trim the valence, the inner fender well, and may have to deal with some rubbing at full lock.

What's the tread pattern? Are they a/t's, m/t's, etc? And worth it is up to you haha, it's your call whether or not you mind doing some trimming or having some rubbing.

I believe they are a/ts. and I don't care to but u wouldn't know the minimal lift height I'd have to put on it so I wouldn't have to trim would you

You could get lucky and not have to trim with the torsion bars cranked up, some people do, but all trucks are slightly different so I can't say for sure. You could get by with a 3" body lift or a 4" suspension since its stock wheels would definitely give you the clearance. But if you ever decide to change wheels, you may be better off going with a 6".

Gbyrd you cn do a 3" body and run them just fine or if you want to go suspension I believe the smallest lift you can buy is a 4" and with the bars cranked your at 5" in the front so no problem with rubbing or trimming on stock wheels. Although when you get into suspension lifts you then have to start worrying about backspacing issues and might have to switch to aftermarket wheels.

Put the tires on and trim as minimal as necessary

Ive ready plenty of posts that 35's will fit with stock rims as long as the tbars are cranked. Although they have had to do slight trimming of the valance and a small amount of rub at full lock. It might look funny though. Fuel mileage will probs drop considerably for intown driving. I had 35's on mine with a 3" body lift and had no issues then decided to go to 33's as I have kids to load into the truck and bikes to put in the box and I have never looked back. 35's with a 3" body lift looked a bit crammed but it felt like it got some ***** back after downsizing. Tranny loved it too I bet.
