have 2004 (heritage old body style) 4.2 9k has been sitting 6 years change fluids new fuel pump gas on fuel rail hits on either no start any ideas

 

also power on injectors

 

Hook a pressure gauge (you can borrow/rent one from the parts store) up to the fuel rail - what kind of pressure do you get? Did you also replace the fuel filter? Do you have spark?

If you have spark and at least 28 to 40 psi fuel pressure, you may have to pull the injectors and get them bench cleaned or replace them.

60 lbs is way too much - the limit is about 45. Is the gas 6 years old?

 

sorry to take so long for this i travel only tinker on weekends hooked up pressure gauge 20 lb turn switch goes to 40 gas is new cleaned tank new fuel pumppower to injectors

 

Time to check for spark.
