Anyone running 295/75/16 on stock height 4x4?

Hey guys! Does anyone have 295/75/16s BFG All Terrains on your stock height F150? If so, can you post some pictures? I have Mickey Thompson 10x16 rims and Im wondering if that tire/rim combination would fit if I just cranked the torsion bars. Thanks!

I know that you can clear 35's on stock wheels and you can clear either 305/70's 285/75's or straight up 33x12.5. I am not sure about using the 10 inch wheel though. I have 285/75's on my stock rims/suspension with a torsion crank but not maxed. But I also know that using a wide aftermarket wheel with a different than stock backspacing changes things as far as rubbing. I am sure you could do it if you did a little trimming on the lower valance and inner fender maybe. Then again they might not rub at all. My 285's dont rub at all and I didnt trim anything.

Actually I did a quick search and here is a link to a guy who is runing 305/70/16 on 16x10 wheels and only cranked the torsion bars a half inch. He had some trimming to do and shows what he cut off and how he did it. Your wheels probably aren't the same as his but you get the idea.

I'm not sure. I bought the truck with the wheels on it. How do I find out?

Thanks for the link, buddy. I like the look of the BFG All Terrains. I was thinking about the 285/75/16s or the 305/70/16s but they look too small. From what I understand the 295/75/16s have a taller sidewall than the other two and they are about the same width.

Here is somebody running the size I want in Nitto Terra Grapplers. He says they rub a bit on turns without a torsion crank.

As far as the 285/75 and 305/ 70 they are both an even 33" the 295/75 is 33.2 and the widths are 285=11.2 295=11.5 305=12.2 this is only in the BFG AT's every tire differs by style and manufacturer. You would be able to see the difference in width between a 285 and a 305 but i dont think that you could really see the .2 inches in width and height between the 285 and 295. But because your running a 10" wheel you might want to go with the 295 or even the 305. 10 inches is a lot of width to cover. As far as determening backspace I would just look up your wheels on Ebay and it will tell you the specs for them.

The first pic is with 295 75 16 terra grapplers stock
The 2nd pic is of the same tire with 16x10 DC1 wheels....the torsion bars are cranked, and no rubbing whatsoever
