Springtech 6.5 lift

Ok i have some questions for those with the springtech 6.5. Are you able to run a coil spacer with that kit. Does the coil spring it comes with max out the upper control arm it comes with. Can a 2'' spacer be added and still be able to align the camber?

How much lift do the springs provide that come in the kit? 2''? With a another 2'' spacer thats 4'' over stock. Can that work with those control arms?

Basically what im asking is can i run 4'' of coil lift with those springtech control arms?

The kit comes with 3" coils and 3.5" spindles for a total of 6.5" of lift. The control arms set you back pretty close to stock angles. For a while I ran a 2" spacer with mine for a total of 8.5" of lift, but it hurt the ride quality pretty bad and the angles weren't desirable. I was able to get it aligned though, but I had to take it to an offroad shop to have it done, most other places like firestone wouldn't touch it. So if you want to add a spacer I'd stick to 1-1.5" at the max.

So thats like putting a 3'' spacer or 3'' longer spring on a stock setup right? So you had 2'' spacer for sometime so thats 5'' lift over stock since the spindles dont effect the geometry of the suspension? And you were still able to align it?

So basically i could run a 5'' lift spring or 3'' lift spring and 2'' spacer? with those spring tech control arms?

Okay let's see your first question is kinda confusing me, you can't run a 3" spacer or spring with stock arms. That's why the kit has aftermarket control arms that are longer than stock. They allow the angles to go back to almost where they were if the truck was stock height. And yes, I did run a 2" spacer with the 3" coils for a total of 5" of lift not including the spindles, but like I said, they ride wasn't good and the angles weren't great, that's why it's no longer on there. If you want to run a spacer with the 3" coils and aftermarket arms, I'd go no bigger than a 1.5" spacer at the most.

Also the biggest lift spring your going to find is 3".

Spindles don't effect geometry.

And yes I got it aligned, but I had to go to a shop that specialized in lifted trucks. Majority of alignment shops wouldn't touch it, so I ended up having to call a local offroad shop to see who they take their trucks to for alignments.

Ok thank you. Yea i meant with the springtech control arms. So thats about 4.5'' of lift with those bad boys. I have the doestech ones which are the same as the springtech. I made this name before i got them so i no longer need longer arms.

I have them on my fabtech kit right now with a 3'' spacer i just wanted to see how much more lift i can get out of it. With the 3'' spacers i still have plenty of room of adjustment before maxing them out. I just dont know about the angles of the tierods or lower bally. If i can get to 14.5'' (including my 3'' body lift) I will be done.

Im going to do it and see how it goes. While in the process i would like to get ride of my aluminum spacer and get a 3'' daystar spacer but i can only find the 2.5'' ones. Anyone or you peetz know where i can find a 3'' daystar coil spacer?

What exactly are you running and what tire size are you trying to run? I don't see 14.5" being possible. The biggest I can see while still maintaining decent angles is 3" body lift + 7.5" fabtech lift + 1.5" spacer for a total of 12".

13.5" with only 6" from a spacer and a bl? I'm confused. Post some pictures of your truck.

Post some pictures of the angles.

Also how are you planning to stack the spacers since you already have one?

I was going to put a 1'' on the bottom of the spring. And the 3'' will stay on top. Let me see if i have a pic of what my angles are like now.

Your tie rod angles look pretty bad already, I wouldn't push it with another inch. And even with the doestch arms I doubt your ball joint angles would be good with another inch either.

Any pictures of the whole truck?
