Bad rear axle bearings?

I have a 2002 f150 4x4 and i have been getting two noises with it for the past month. The first noise was a clunk that was coming from the rear but i was told this is normal on the ford axles. the second was a growling/humming noise like a wheel bearing when i turned the truck left. i figured it was a front right wheel bearing so i replaced it but the noise didnt go away so then i swapped the new wheel bearing to the driver side to see if it made a difference and it didnt. so today i jacked the back of the truck up to see if i could tell if it was a back axle bearing. i put a pry bar under the right rear tire and lifted it up and i heard it clunk so is it bad? and i pulled and pushed on the tire and it also clunked so im guessing this is the clunking im hearing. when i did it the the driver side it would not clunking pushing or pulling on it but had a little play up and down with the pry bar. can someone please tell me what i should do next?

I just rotated my tires and gave the wheels a wiggle. There is no noise when I push up/down left/right in the rear wheels. I can pull the wheel in/out, but it's probably less than a millimeter, so I'm not worried.

What does it sound like when you spin the wheels? Jack up the truck and put it in drive.

I would take it to a driveline shop for a diagnosis. Yes, sounds like carrier bearings in the rear end.
