Exclamation 10" wide with -24 offset, need advice today

I know this should be posted in the tire/rim section BUT I want to know how this size rim sits on our body style and I know theres tons of sick trucks in this forum with offset rims like this. Found an awesome deal and want to pick the rims up today. My truck has a 3" BL and thats it but I want Black wheels and for the price I can get these rims for, its cheaper than powder coating the ones I have.

He doesnt have any pics of them on his truck to see what it looks like besides the one there.

Go to Home Depot and buy 2 cans of Plasti dip. About $6.00 par can. 2 coats per wheel.

If you're looking for something that's gonna last longer than plasti dip then go for spray on bed liner

I appreciate the replies but Ive used plasti-dip/kote before and Im not a fan. I wheel my truck and alot of gravel roads and bush Im sure will be seeing the rims. I started a thread on bedlining my rims but I dont think I have the ***** to ruin those rims. I bought them anyways. I figured $200 was a great deal. Once I swap the tires over Ill take those other eagles and jack my 2wd up on stands, put the rims on the rear with no tires or valve stems, put the truck in drive and go through many different grits of sand paper then polish. Im sure thats a little ghetto but its works well and its fast. Dont worry though I always have someone sitting in the truck

updated with pics

plasti-dip might be ok for pavement queens but I use my trucks and that crap peels. Bad experience with it man.

Got 2 on today as I didnt want to swap them all incase the fronts rubbed BUT Im good to go. No issues. I know I need tires but Im trying to hold off and find some used tsl's or a high end tire on kijiji. Dont worry about the ugly paint either lol. Im experimenting and I think Im going to stay with the black bedliner instead of the JL colour match that didnt really colour match. Those rims ballooned my 285/75/16 out good. I love the look. They dont stick out too far either. The stance looks way better and black is the only good colour of rim you can put on the toreador red IMO. Bottom line I couldnt be happier.

Do I keep with the silver vinyl pinstripe or leave the raw line? Paint the fender flares black? I dont want paint chipping of the fender flares and looking like crap though so its a tough call.

Wow, I can't believe your tire guy clamped a weight on the outside of that wheel!! Fit looks good though. Next tire purchase, go with a 305; you'll be very glad you did.

I keep my eyes open but I have my sights on 33x12.50x16 OR 315/75/16. I could care less about the weights. I noticed but whatever haha. thats canadian tire for yah. the only tire place open on a sunday. I was anxious to get the rims on.

Just FYI... 305/70 is a 33x12.50. Matter of fact, you're more likely to find a 305 than a 33x12.50 in a 16" rim.

If my math serves me right a 305/70/16 from metric to inches is 33(rounded up 32.8xx) x12.01. My 285/75/16 is 33(rounded again)x11.22. I know I'd find the 305 before the 33" but either or would work.

I doubt you will ever find a 33x12.50r16, very few people make them. You have a lot better luck finding a 305/70r16. And just because its on the sidewall doesn't mean it's not a true 33x12.50. On those wheels you have now all tires are gonna measure out wider, and always check the manufacture specs for the real size. But man do those wheels look nice on your truck!!

I hear yah pizzaman. Ill keep that info in mind when searching for new tires. never thought to check the manufacturers website. I have seen instances with 2 different brands of tires side by side, both stating the same size and one being taller. Thanks for the compliment btw.
