I love my dog but hate dog hair in the cab of my truck! In the summer he's in the box, but in the winter it's too cold. I recently came up with a solution that I wanted to share with you guys. It works great!
I noticed that in my super cab, there are 3 loops behind the rear seat for child seat restraints. I found an old bed duvet and stitched 3 loops of backpack strapping onto it, folded up the rear seats, and clipped the loops to the truck's loops using 3 small carabiners.
Really easy and prevents the blanket from falling down when it's just tucked in. Easy to remove and clean, and I can still keep tow straps, etc. back there behind the blanket and he can't get at them.

I have the same problem, love to take him with me but the shedding sucks and so hard to get off cloth seats. He likes to ride shotgun too, trying to make him get used to the back bench. Ill have to try this because blankets always fall down.
