Starter turns over but no start up. Replaced battery, checked fuses. Took air filter off and shot starting fluid into it. The truck turned over for a second then died. Need help on where to trouble shoot next to get the truck running.

 

Check for fuel pressure at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. If it has pressure, rent/borrow a pressure gauge from a parts store, it should be at least 28 psi.

No fuel pressure could be a bad fuel pump, tripped inertia switch, blown fuel pump fuse, bad fuel pump relay, or plugged fuel filter.
