Bumper idea's?

Alright I do a lot of offroading and my clips on the top of the plastic peices where the fog lights come out of have broken on the right side, I did a quick fix and it looks fine but I'm looking into going ahead and getting a full replacement bumper in march. Anyone have idea's? I'm holding off on off reading until I get one.

What kind of "offroading"? You wanting something like a pre-runner or more of a ranch hand style?

Ranch hand unless I can find a big pre-runner full replacement bumper, and by off roading I mean going through any mud I can find that would get my truck dirty and driftin around dirt roads.

Daily driver? Yes. But I don't go off roading as much as I made it sound.

I want to completely eliminate the chrome/plastic bumper, two reasons being I've blacked out my whole truck but the bumpers and second being the front bumper is somewhat broken but it has a quick fix on it.

Did you break the actual metal bumper or just the plastic valance? My 02 had the same problem on the drivers side due to a tire blowing out (it literally burst) on the interstate. It's about $45 for CAPA certified, but most websites charge $70+ freight due to size. I got mine from Parts Geek for $75 shipped. They come in dark gray or black like you want. You get a handful of the metal retaining clips as well, but not all so you have to recycle some old ones.

The new one looks like night and day on my truck, even comparing to before it broke.

Yup, plenty of pics in my album.

And I'd never run a bull bar, the potential for them causing more damage than they prevent is too high.

See I really like that, I had found one without fog lights but I have fog lights. Those are easy enough to completely take out right?

I got that bumper from craigslist with Line-X on it for $400. I think retail is like $1200.
For the fog lights on my truck, I just removed the bulbs and zip tied the wires out of the way so they wouldn't hang down.
