new to forum thinking about wheel spacers
I am new to this forum and i was thinking about putting wheel spacers on i have a 1999 scab with 285/75/16 tires and vision warrior wheels and i want them to stick farther out and was wondering if anyone had pics of there trucks with wheel spacers so i could see the difference they make. i will also be putting 3 inch block in the back and cranking my t bars this spring any info would be great.
First off, welcome to the site!
Searching the wheel and tire section will be your best friend for something like this, but to give you a general answer, wheel spacers can be hit or miss, especially depending on the backspacing/offset of your wheels. Depending on that they can highly increase wear on parts. And a lot of members (including myself) find them unsafe due to the fact that if not torqued correctly and regularly checked you can shear off studs or drop a wheel going down the highway. But if you want to go with them I highly recommend the kind that have new studs pressed in (I think 1.5" is the smallest you can get and still have do to minor trimming on the stock studs to get them to fit because they're 1.6ish inches or so). Definitely do not get the kind that are just the little plates that have slots on them to slip over your old studs to space the wheels out. And definitely don't cheap out, cause frankly this is something you wanna get cheap quality on.
Also why the 3" block? Are you going to be replacing the factory one to maintain a little rake, or are you going to be stacking them and get some major rake? haha

ok thanks pizzaman711 for the info on the wheel spacers and i did not relize that it had a factory block in the rear but i guess i will be replacing the factory one cause i dont want to go more than 3 inch cause i dont think you can get more than 3 inches out of the t bars cranked. I went with e block cause the cost of a suspension lift is crazy and the body lift seems like alot of work to install.
