I bought mine for just under $8k from the dealership in 2008. 2002 XLT Supercab 4.6L 4x4 just like yours, and 80k mi at the time. I lived near the beach when I bought that though.

But where I live now I would list it for $12k and probably get at least $10k, even though its 5 years older and has 175k mi.

Truck prices vary widely depending on where you live and what's going on in the economy.

Depends what it looks like and what kind of shape it is in as well... For all I know, it has been in every ditch from town to church. Pulled trailers across the country and survived hurricane katrina.

brew, there are sooo many 97-03's running around in this area you could probably see a twin, maybe even a triplet for one in a day of driving... mine was a "rarish" color scheme and there was one the exact same year just with a standard cab and a 5.4 in it painted up like mine.

There's a lot of them running around here as well. Some clean, some rusted, most have exhaust manifold leaks lol. I hear them at traffic lights all the time.

Always liked that grey, but they all look good when clean, -
