99 F150 Automatic won't **** to 1st on the column

99 F150 Automatic won't **** to 1st on the column
My needle doesn't shift right on the column, it always one to the right. So, Revers (R) is Park, Neutral (N) is Reverse, Drive (D) is Neutral, so on and so on. Can I fix that? Any way to do it
