Does a 1998 f150 have ABS?

The other day I was driving and the roads were a little slippery. When I went to stop, it didn't feel like I had ABS. There is no ABS light on, if there is one. I also have heard from other forums that it does have ABS but only on the rear? Some people argue both ways. I am just curious. The truck is a 1998 4.6 5 speed manual 4x4. Thanks!

4-wheel ABS was an option (my 97 4.6 Lariat had it) but I don't think it came on manual transmission trucks. Look for wheel speed sensors on your front spindles, if you don't see any, then it's rear-wheel abs only.
