Most of the trail was easy stuff, but there was a hill that I thought would be a struggle. It was really steep, but the truck just climbed up the hill like without complaining a bit. I really like the V10 for off road. So much torque! We found a ghost town from the early 80's, but I didn't take any pictures, sorry.

How are you going to come across a ghost town and not take pictures??

I'm going back. I promise pictures. I did make a video of a creepy house though.

I went back yesterday. Here's some pics:

We also decided to do a little exploring on a road nobody has travelled for a long time. I had to use the winch a couple of times. The pictures make this stuff look so easy, but we were STUCK! I would have been fine with a shorter wheelbase, but the long wheel base and running boards was a perfect recipe for high centering. My home made front winch mount and Harbor Freight winch pulled us right off the rocks without a complaint. The only damage we took was the trailer plug and the exhaust slipped out at a clamp. Sounded sweet

Nice..

Hey when you go back, I could use the metal on that roof. Looks like it's in great shape.

There are literally TONS of metal out there. You may have noticed there is some in the bed of my truck. Sorry, I'm not sharing the location. I'm looking into the claim rights of the land and possibly obtaining my own claim.

I've seen camps like that here in Utah. Back in the 70's and 80's people would buy land and build the retirement paradise then die and nobody wants it.
