Took it on a good drive (Christmas shopping) and fuel mileage is back to normal. Thanks god. $15 bucks a day to go 35 miles is crazy.
Yea, after changing the 02's I was thinking of anything else that could have gone wrong and it hit me to check the oil. Oil looked ok, due for a change but had a fuel smell to it so I changed it (just happened to be going to walmart for shopping)

What an ordeal.

If the holidays don't wipe me out, Id REALLY like to get a set of long tubes lined up for when I'm swapping out the cats.
Off the subject, but how would I utilize/fabricate the stock cats with a set of long tubes. Until I can get my hands on some high flows. For now if I could, bolt the LT on with these cats since they have low miles.

Another side note, anyone know if cats go bad from sitting a long time..? These cats have been sitting for about 10 years. Should still be good right?

Justin @ VMP proved that and posted the graph showing it.

Not that you needed this info Toyz, but quite a few run LT's and its good to know.
Good to know.
I went with motorcraft

Thanks to everyone

I was going to use the downstream converters with my LT install, -they might as well be high flows when used alone without the upstream's right ?

Right! Thing is, if you have a 4x4, they won't fit. They're to damn long. What she said in singularity

So, in the recent months the little tool box of spare parts and tools has been forgotten and removed.
That seems to be never ending, -always prepare for the worst and it never happens, so.... Yea, I've done the same, countless times. Like all the stuff one may need IF stranded, stuck or otherwise. Big list, kept removing portions of that through the years. Oh well, now I don't stop for anyone unless they just need to use the phone. Otherwise, the wheels keep turning, sorry, Good Luck!

Ahh. gotcha. Then I may wait a little longer to run the LT's, high flows, x pipe etc.. That's a $1000 exhaust when your done. Not sure how Id get the Wife to sign off on that one. Bribery is my only guess. In that case, it will cost me twice.
