Think I toasted my cat converters
Took it on a good drive (Christmas shopping) and fuel mileage is back to normal. Thanks god. $15 bucks a day to go 35 miles is crazy.
Yea, after changing the 02's I was thinking of anything else that could have gone wrong and it hit me to check the oil. Oil looked ok, due for a change but had a fuel smell to it so I changed it (just happened to be going to walmart for shopping)
What an ordeal.
If the holidays don't wipe me out, Id REALLY like to get a set of long tubes lined up for when I'm swapping out the cats.
Off the subject, but how would I utilize/fabricate the stock cats with a set of long tubes. Until I can get my hands on some high flows. For now if I could, bolt the LT on with these cats since they have low miles.
Another side note, anyone know if cats go bad from sitting a long time..? These cats have been sitting for about 10 years. Should still be good right?
Good to know.
I went with motorcraft
Thanks to everyone

Another Note: Why headers make a difference. If you run LT's you don't use Bosch O2 sensors because switching becomes very weak. The O2's are so far downstream compared to OEM set up, sometimes the upstream O2's may never light off. And that's why you use Motorcraft sensors over Bosch. Justin @ VMP proved that and posted the graph showing it.
Not that you needed this info Toyz, but quite a few run LT's and its good to know.

Right! Thing is, if you have a 4x4, they won't fit. They're to damn long. What she said in singularity
It's funny how say, -
That seems to be never ending, -always prepare for the worst and it never happens, so.... Yea, I've done the same, countless times. Like all the stuff one may need IF stranded, stuck or otherwise. Big list, kept removing portions of that through the years. Oh well, now I don't stop for anyone unless they just need to use the phone. Otherwise, the wheels keep turning, sorry, Good Luck!
Man, I thought those days were gone.
I always have tools with me, just about enough to tear this whole thing down. Especially after the motor swap, I thought it would be good to have. On a positive note, Ive never yet had to go back on anything we did and repair or tighten or whatever else. So, in the recent months the little tool box of spare parts and tools has been forgotten and removed.

Ahh. gotcha.
Then I may wait a little longer to run the LT's, high flows, x pipe etc.. That's a $1000 exhaust when your done. Not sure how Id get the Wife to sign off on that one. Bribery is my only guess. In that case, it will cost me twice.

Once you've succeeded, let me in on it would yuh?
Tell me where i can find out more about this? Sounds like its something I should kept handy, I've already had issues with 2 COPS crapping out on bank 1.
