4wd Shift assembly

I finally fixed the 4wd shifter.
Just wondering if the shift should be solid (no movement/play)? yes it does shift in 4wd hi, low, 2wd.
I put a new bolt and there is no more play. Just before it broke there was alot of play.

No shouldn't have play. But it shouldn't be hard to move.

it’s easy to move from different positions, just stiff in place. When I got it you could wiggle it around a good half inch.
Thanks for the help
