Lighted runnig boards

I am installing some lighted running boards on my 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Can anyone help me with where I can connect the running board wires to.

Thanks

I'd cruse through a few dealer lots...& find another truck similar to yours with lighted running boards and see how it was done.

Or contact the manufacturer of the running boards for suggestions.

If it was me I'd prolly just tie into with the just clearance lights so they are on when headlights are needed...unless you want them flashing with turn signal, then tie into it (doubtful but to each his own)

Unless these things have 20 lights per side , just tapping into existing power supply should be fine....typically these have some pretty low draw bulbs and shouldn't tax the system to bad

Couldn't you possibly wire it in with a fused line to constant 12V and a relay with the interior light source as 12v trigger for the relay? Boards would go on and off with interior lights without loading that circuit. It may be fine on the interior light circuit alone with its lights on as enriched mentioned but not sure what kind of lighted boards you have to go by....

Look on your fuse panel and in your book, it should already be wired for it, just find it on the fuse panel under the hood, I made my own a while back w/ some 12" LED's stuck underneath.
