Hey guys, need your help. I have the Flex-a-lite 270 fan kit. Bought it used with the truck I bought (2002 in sig) and I had to reinstall it. The problem I have is that as soon as I turn the truck on the fans turn on after the delay. They shut off after I shut the truck off. It doesn't seem like it cycles with the radiator temps like its supposed to. It stays on the whole time the truck is on. I didn't check what temp the thermostat was set at. I will do that tomorrow but I didn't think the fans would turn on on a cold engine. Any Ideas? Thanks. I did the search and I wasn't finding anything.

 

When everything is cold the adjustable fan stat should control the fan on/off.
If not the circuit is shorted or you have a wiring error.

Sounds to me like the controller is either set for the fans to come on too low or the controller is fried.
