I had a Viper 554T installed in my 2000 F150 yrs ago but have had a issue with the 555F pats interface module. The little glass tip that sits by the ring around the ignition key would move and then wouldn't get the signal to the alarm to send hot signal so truck would start. Played with it and moved it around a bit and still no signal sent to start truck. Had this happen yrs ago and it was a bad module
I went to get a new module and its no longer made so I have 2 new options to choose from. I prefer one that I can just install here at home and not have to pay the $$ to have a store do it. It will be a wire to wire connection. Xpresskit offers a PKALL and a PKFM module that will work from what I read. Some say one works better than the other and one requires programming where the other doesn't
