For no reason out of the blue a couple of weeks ago the abs light came up on my dash. I did nothing to the truck before it was shut off that would cause the light to come one. I just shut the truck off and there was no light and went to start it back up and it was on. The truck is an 2001 XLT 5.4 4X4 with 155k miles on the clock. I may have gotten the code and the discription backword but this is what I got.

C1115 abs power relay output short circut to battery
C1198 abs inlet valve coil circut falure LF
C1214 abs inlet valve coil circut falure RF

I cleared those codes and then got another code.

C1185 abs power relay output circut falure

I was plan on getting a new truck and selling this one to my dad but with all these codes is this going to be an expensive enough fix to where I shoud just sell it to the dealer? Thanks

 

If you "sell" it to the dealer, you'll get even less for the truck!

Look up the DTC(s) in the service manual and address them.
