Having 2 Issues: Starting and Turn Signal

I did some searching and couldn't find anyone in the same boat as me. Please keep in mind these are two separate, unrelated issues, or at least I think they are.

1) I bought my 99 SuperCab a few months ago. A few weeks after I got it I noticed it was fast flashing inside the cab when turning right. I discovered the passenger side front turn signal wasn't working. I bought a bulb, but before I installed it, it started working properly. It has been working properly most of the time but now it finally quit and has been out for a week. I have tried to replace the bulb, swap bulbs, swap front housings etc, all to no avail. All the other flashers work except for the passenger side front. Any ideas?

2) This truck is driven daily and always starts fine. Yesterday, my wife drove it to work. She stopped to get her coffee and it wouldn't start. She called me and I asked her to try it again. I could hear it turn over, and the truck has a brand new battery so I ruled that out. I arrived about 15 minutes later and it fired right up on the first try. She had tried it about a half dozen times without success. It started fine last night and this morning. I have a buddy coming over this afternoon to check the fuel pump pressure. Any other things to check? My wife and son often drive this truck and I do not want them stranded!

Thanks!

Check the ground straps.....there's a few but they can become corroded and loose continuity....just a suggestion....
