Tire Wheel and Lift Question

First off thank you all again for all your help! The truck is running amazing and has been very good to me so far!

I need new tires and figure I might as well get the wheels and height out of the truck I want now instead of wasting money and doing it all over again in a year. I want a slight lift 2 inches(ish). Any advice on how to do so? I keep hearing about cranking up the stock torsion keys, will that raise the back as well or just level it? I would like to raise the back a bit as well! Also I would like to run 275 65 18's on the truck. Will those fit with a bone stock truck? Also does anyone have pictures of those size wheels/tires?

Oh the truck is a 2003 F150 XL 4.2 4x4 5 speed manual. I DO NOT want to regear, will my truck handle the slight tire increase all right or should I look for a smaller size?

Thanks a million!

-Cranking the torsion bars will only level the front. Every truck is different so don't know how much lift you'll get out of it until you actually do it.
-Odds are, this will place the front about level, so if you want to lift the rear, you'll end with that nose low rake again.
-That's about a 32" diameter tire, so you should be way fine with fitment and drivability.
-Why are you against re-gearing? That's hands down, the best performance mod I've ever done to ANY car or truck I've ever owned, including this one!

You say I will be fine with fitment and drivability, is that with the truck stock or by cranking the torsion bars?

Thanks for your quick response

You won't need to touch anything to get them to fit. They will fit without cranking torsion bars or any other kind of lift.

By drivability, I meant that going to a 32" tire isn't going to kill the power of your truck. Cranking the torsion bars may give you a slightly firmer ride in the front, but nothing of a negative nature. Truck will drive the same as it always has.
