Hi guys, obviously I'm new here. I found the site through Google. My search on Google & searching the forum here has yielded me no results. My dad is 2000 miles away and I am trying to help him get his speedometer working. The truck is a 97 f150 3-door extended cab, 4.6, 2wd, auto. He changed both speed senders (transmission tail housing & rear axle), and I sent him a replacement cluster from a wrecking yard (unknown whether it previously worked or not). Still no speedometer, odometer, or cruise. When I was there in June I used my scanner on it and the scanner reads the speed correctly, so I know the senders are reading. The truck does give a VSS code (PO500). Any ideas?
