3" front 2" rear lift on 285/75/16's (33") Nitto Terra Grapplers.

You can't really clear them perfectly you will still rub on full lock but its doable.

Best option is 265/75/16 to get clearance but still on a bigger tire. I will have a pic for you in a couple days. I have 265/75/18's (32.6" diameter) on my new wheels waiting to be balanced at the shop right now. I also have a 1.5" front leveling kit on the way. So, hopefully Tuesday I will be able to tell you more about the clearance on a near 33" tire. I would not suggest 85's as they will be LTs and I think that's silly on an F-150. It'll kill your gas mileage cuz the tires are so heavy...but that's just my opinion. Anyone have a leveling kit and 33s out their 97-03?

Hey, BlueOval, did you just tint your tails?? I was planning to do this but didn't know how hard it would be.

Well. I fun LT's and I manage 18 MPG mixed right now. I have an auto. Yes i did just tint my tails. Just remove the two screens and pull. Pull out the lights. I used VHT niteshades with not a single problem. Just 2 light coats and i was done. Very very easy. Ive done quite a few tails that way with zero problems. I used actual tinting way and it sucked.

I know it's not a HUGE difference, but I also prefer the ride of P-metrics without the 10ply stiffness. Ain't knocking it, just voicing my opinion. 285/75/16 was my initial plan til I found out they were all 8-10 ply. That's when I decided to get 18s to use a 4-ply tire on it.
Ok, sweet. I used the spray on one of my cars awhile back and it started chipping off after about a year. I was thinking of going with the film this time, but have never tried VHT. Thanks for the info.

This isn't a level but this will give you an idea of what 33's will look like. This is a 3 inch Rough Country lift with 285/70/17's.
