I have a 99 f150 SupercabXLT and I'm not sure what to do about the paint. I got a number of door dings small ones by the driver handle and the back has ALOT of deep scratches on the bed sides and tailgate. And one the passenger side it looks like it was side swiped and the previous guy tryed to cover it up it's not to bad though. Should I just get a truck bed form the junkyard throw it on and paint it the same color. Cause that's where most the damage is the front isn't that bad. Note I'm only a high school student I don't make a a lot of money so I can't really afford a 1000$ paint job. Just something little so my truck looks better.

The other side has scratches and the tail gate does too

 

Look into paintless dent repair...there may be a PDR technician in your area to remove the dents for a fraction of body shop price (one hundred dollar range)...I do it here in north bay, Ontario Canada

GTxmatt dig your truck man looks nice and yeah I was thinking of just getting a new bed from the junk yard and just getting it painted and just throw it on because It looks like the bed might have moved of alingment so I think it's just best to scrap this one that's on it.

 

Yeah I here ya! You should look into the fibreglass boxes...won't rust or dent...that's what I got.
