2001 AC problem

Hi All,
I have an 01 SCREW. Problem with the AC is that it works fine in the driveway at several differrent RPM ranges at decent time intervals. Compressor kicks on and off at normal gauge readings. All electrial components check out fine including switches, relays, diods. I have replaced a few (relay, TPS) thinking one might be the problem. When I drive it, the AC will kick off and stay off. Could this be a PCM issue, or maybe a speed sensor issue? No other issues with drivability...
TIA.
chris.

Check for excessive clutch gap.

projectSHO89,
Yes. over .060. What I did is get a pry bar and move the clutch back and spray some whats it do 40 on each of the 4 pins. Just a little. Now it works, but, for how long?? I've read that you can de-shim them. Is there a procedure posted somewhere on how to do this?
Also, aren't you still a member on the SHO forums? Didn't expect to see you here. I own a 90 SHO, hence, my logon name. AND many more parts and SHO related items that I have collected over the years. Interested in anything. I would like to get rid of my whole empire... but, I still love fords!
