I checked the code and it said the led on the on/off switch was bad. Now the led works and, no more light! Now if only the odometer would stay on, my electrical issues would be solved. I know I could fix it, but it doesn't bother me enough to take the dash apart.

How do you pull the cluster out?

 

I did this on Monday. It's real easy to do. If you take the top of the drivers side dash off then it makes it really really easy to get the cluster off.
