Yeah Baby!!!

Got my Flowmaster 40 Series SI/DO exhaust installed today!!!

I've got the tails coming out the passenger side in front of the passenger rear tire like the Lightning did. It looks pretty sweet!!

I gotta get some pics of this bad boy up soon!!!...UGH!!

Nice! I've got a somewhat similar setup, except mine run all the way to the back and go out on both sides. I love my 40 series, what's yours? An original, Delta-Flow, or Super 40?

I had a 50 SUV series in my 2000 5.4L.

$350 for the kit, install, and welded joints. SIDO. It was terribly disappointing. Just awful. Lost a lot of torque, sound like a worn out Hoover vacuum, and mileage actually dropped 1-2mpg.

Decided to replace the y-pipe to eliminate the restrictive factory connection. Another $150 down the toilet - no improvement in torque, sound, or mileage.

Ugh, what a disaster. I have learned that the dual outlets are over-rated - a single 3" outlet is just right - cheaper, lighter, simpler than a dual outlet - and better performance.

Also learned that a flow-thru muffler like Magnaflow or Borla seems to work best with Triton motors.
