Glow-Shift Gauges installation Need some Help

Hello All: I am installing gauges on the pillar pod. I purchased Glow-Shift Gauges and they came with 1/8 NPT sending units. My truck is 1997 Ford F-150 4.2L V6.

Question: What size adapters do I need to purchase in order to install these 1/8 NPT sending units? I plan on installing them on the existing locations of the sending units.

Question # 2: Where is the factory Oil Pressure sending unit located on a 1997 F-150 4,.2L V6 engine?

Question # 3: where is factory Water temp sending unit located? Is it mounted on top of the thermostat (19mm brass plug with wire hooked to it?

Thanks
MSK

Thanks. I read that and looked at the information and that is one way to do but wanted to know if I could tap into the actual sensor location. On the factory service manual for my year, it says that the water temperature sending unit is located in the front on top of the lower Intake manifold. Have to go look for it in the engine because the ford schematic is not very helpful.

Update: I found the location of both the Water temp sending unit and the oil pressure sending unit. The Water Temp Sending Unit is located on the lower intake manifold on the driver side just behind the thermostat on the 1997 4.2L engines.

The Oil Pressure sending Unit is located just above the oil filter on the main block. It can be seen from underneath the truck on the driver side or the front fender opening from the Driver side.

Now in order for me to use both the factory gauges and the after market, I have to either install these T-fittings or find separate locations for the sending units that came with the gauges. For Oil Pressure sending unit, Glow shift makes a filter adapter for Mustangs but not for F-150s, so I need to call them to see if any of those would fit.

Question now is what other ways I can connect the Oil pressure sending unit? Any input would be appreciated.

For Water temp sending unit, I have to buy a T fitting that would be installed in the bypass hose. the location of the water temp sending unit is hard to get to and with it being the original part, It may not come out easily. I just need to find the diameter of the bypass hose.

(Please note that there are two water temp sending units on this engine (4.2L) The one on top of the thermostat is for the PGM. The one I mentioned above is for the gauge)

Thanks in advance.
