Got some work to do..
Got some work to do..
G'day,
So today I come with a couple of problems. The truck is out of inspection and I'll be working full time all summer and I'm thinking about fixing it up. Need some advice and guidance. It's a 4.2L V6 with 370,000KM
1) The drivers door is sprung, it won't open fully and the metal is a little bent from me forcing it open enough to squeeze in. Is it possible to have it straightened out and aligned?
2) Exhaust manifold is gone (apparently). It's really loud all the time while driving it, it's coming from the drivers side.. However, if you take a turn a certain way, you can hear metal (maybe the downpipe) moving a little bit and then it gets perfectly quiet and I get my power back?
3) Would the fault in the exhaust cause it to be a lot harder on fuel, like considerably harder?
It's got 370,000KM but other then that the truck runs mint. I've got an 05 Nissan Sentra now with 95,000KM but if I fixed my truck I would likely just give it to grandma.. I miss driving the truck haha.
Thanks for your input
