True Blue's transformation thread

Purchased the truck totaly stock 2 summers ago with the plan of it being just a daily driver. Ended running into a great deal on a small suv and decide to turn it into my toy. as Truck sits now it has 74,000 miles on it and has had the body redone for some rust issues and a few hopefully tasteful mods. Im starting this thread to stop posting new threads everyday! LMAO so ill start with a list of modifications and follow with pics.

Interior:

3 pod gauge pillar
APC glow series gauges
Pioneer touch screen double din stereo
all kicker factory replacement component speakers
2003 console
catchall floormats

Performance/drivetrain/exhaust:

BBK throttle body
spectre cold air intake
diablo sport preditor programmer
10" magnaflow 3" in/dual 2.5" out muffler
4" x 18" maggie tips
456 visteon gears

wheels/tires/suspension:

20 x 10 mb motoring preditors -25 mm offset with 5" lip machined finish
35 x 12.50 x 20 toyo m/t's
2" rear leaf spring shackle hanger
6.5" springtech suspension lift
rough country steering stabilizer
1.5" billet aluminum wheel spacers

body/apperance:

L2 true blue metallic paint with extra pearl added
stampede rough riderz pocket flares PTM
4x4 expy valance w/o tow hook holes
depo fogs
depo l reps/corners
t rex billet grill cutout insert
goodmark cowl induction hood
good mark steel roll pan
ptm door and tail gate handels
ptm top bumper pad
ptm grill surround
2008 sd tail conversion
all LED lighting except head lights and fogs

tow mirriors (just not installed yet)

With your mods, you'll want to send it to a third party tuner such as PHP so they can custom tune it. The CS out of the box is made for a stock engine, tire size, gear ratio, ect ect.

is that really expensive? and can they get more power outta my engine mods?

I think you got the most expensive part out of the way in buying the programmer. I don't have custom tunes though so I can't tell you what they'll run you. Several others have the custom tunes though and I've not heard anyone who was displeased with the power gains.

Got my new toy in the mail last night! Gotta say installed it and only played with it for a minute and i absolutly love it already! Cant wait to install my headers and send it out for a custom tune! But deff fixed my shifting issues since the bigger tires were put on! Thanks Kots for hookin me up! Heres a pic!
