03 Scab FX4 Spare tire and jack

My 03 Scab has no spare and no jack. In short, I know I need one of each. So, I ask:
  1. Will a jack from any 97-03 F150 work or is it different from 2WD to 4WD, year, etc?
  2. Will a spare from any 97-03 F150 fit/bolt under the bed?
  3. Would the FX4 have come with another FX4 rim or a regular steelie/other?
  4. What do I need to mount the spare under the bed? - Specific bracket, etc?

Truck is all stock with no addons of any kind.

Thanks in advance,
-Tim

Same jacks year to year however I know they do have sticker on them that specifies whether 4x2 or 4x4.

Any 97-03 spare will fit, however the spares usually match what size tire came on the truck from factory so it can differ from truck to truck. Which isn't too big of deal, except say if you get a flat on a rear tire you'd have to change a front tire to the rear so the rear sizes match and then put the different sized spare on the front.

And steelie rim. But if you find a tire on a Fx4 rim like yours it will fit under there still.

Invest in a small floor jack. The jacks that came with these trucks are a real PITA if you ever have to use them.

So true, I hate using my factory jack.

I THINK they changed the studs in 99. 97-98 are 12mm and 99-03 is 14mm.

I am not too sure though, hopefully someone else can clarify.

Wheels are still the same, just different lug nuts.
